Bringing Sensory Integration and Sensory
Processing to Schools, Homes and Businesses
Diana A. Henry, MS, OTR/L and Henry OT Services, Inc. offer their
'ateachabout' program to schools, clinics, homes and
communities. Their mission is to promote understanding and
awareness of issues related to sensory processing disorders, sensory
integration and the sensory systems. These occupational therapy
services which support the mandates of 'No Child Left Behind' and
IDEA 2004, give parents, educators, therapists, other health
professionals and administrators user friendly opportunities for
promoting collaboration and developing sensory safe
communities. Materials and workshops are provided across the
USA and internationally. These may influence attention, motor
coordination, social participation, behavior and even violence in
schools.
